Andrew Brown 2005 - Rich and Maryellen Brown and their son Austin, are proud to announce Andrew's completion of the requirements for the Eagle Scout Badge.  Many relatives, friends, mentors and scouts were on hand at the Eagle Court of Honor, held on August 13, 2005 at the First Presbyterian Church of Franklin, Tennessee.  Andrew has been involved in scouting for over 10 years.  He has also been involved with soccer and track teams since he was in elementary school.  He graduated from Page High School in 2004, and has just finished his first year of college at Middle Tennessee State University.   Thanks goes to some important mentors in Andrew's scouting life that spoke at the Eagle Court of Honor.  Larry Carpenter, Jeff Phillips, Fred Darville, Mick Rhodes and Garry Hollansworth.   A reception was held directly after the Benediction.

Craig Carpenter 2002
Carpenter follows father to Eagle rank  -August 16, 2002 Tennessean BRENTWOOD - Craig Michael Carpenter, 14, received his Eagle Scout Award on June 14 at Boxwell Scout Reservation. Carpenter is a member of Troop 135, which is sponsored by the First Presbyterian Church of Franklin. For his Eagle Scout project, he restored a storage shed at his church, Community Bible Church. Christopher Douglas Rhodes - 2003
Rhodes a Third Generaltion Scout - May 19, 2003 Tennessean FRANKLIN - Chris Rhodes of Boy Scout Troop 135 completed his Eagle Scout project with a ceremony held in his honor on April 13 at First Presbyterian Church in Franklin. Rhodes finished his Eagle project at the church where he laid brick pavers inside railroad tie steps that go up a hill from the church parking lot to the basketball court.....
 
Joe Shannon Moran - 2004
Brothers In Scouting - February 9, 2005 - Tennessean
Joe, Joel, David and Luke Moran stand together following the Eagle Scout ceremony on Jan. 30 for Joel Moran at Christ United Methodist Church. Joe and David Moran are brothers, as are Joel and Luke. All four are now Eagle Scouts. The younger men are the sons of Joe and Beth Moran. Joel Moran achieved his Eagle rank through Troop 135, as did his father and brother. Larry Carpenter was Scoutmaster for Joel's Eagle.. 
 
Jody Glenn Kittle - 2004
Kittle Earns Eagle Scout Rank -- FRANKLIN -- Jody Kittle of Boy Scout Troop 135, which is sponsored by First Presbyterian Church of Franklin, earned his Eagle Scout rank on February 9, 2004.  He was presented this highest level in Boy Scouting at a special ceremony held in his honor on May 23, 2004.   He is the son of Glenn & Joyce Kittle, and the brother of Lael Kittle.
 
His Eagle Scout project involved 3 separate phases at Oak View Elementary in Franklin -- building 7 benches for the school's entrance, painting  portable classroom for before/after-school care program, and re-seeding & strawing eroded areas on the playground.  After completing his freshman year at Centennial High, he will be entering his sophomore year at the new Independence High.
 
Jody is involved actively in his church's youth ministry, participating in mission trips to Montana in 2002 and Mexico in 2004.  He's also had the privilege of traveling as a Student Ambassador to Europe during the summer of 2003 with People to People International, founded by President Dwight D. Eisenhower.  He visited England, France, Italy and Greece during his 21-day trip.
